Why do I need ITUtility.NET?
The effort and investment required to setup a hosting solution is large and will not provide a ROI if a critical mass of users is not reached. To reduce your start-up costs and risks, ITUtility.NET enables IT service providers to go to market quickly to secure an initial base of customers to allow the service provider to understand what the SaaS opportunity means to their business and how they can differentiate from the competition.
How much does it cost to get started?
Start-up costs are minimal. Each reseller is provided with an admin account to manage their hosted solution. Resellers that want to have a 100% private label offering will need to purchase an SSL certificate if they do not already have one for the domain to be used to host their offering.
How much money can I make?
This amount varies based on the value added by the service provider. To maximize profits, service providers need to bundle the hosted services offering with their value-added products and services to deliver a managed service that provides their customers with an end-to-end solution. There are already many service providers online that offer similar services via direct sales over the web. The prices posted for their offerings do not include the services to provide a high-touch solution to the small and medium-sized business market.
Who owns the customer relationship?
You own the customer. We have no contact with your customers. We do not sell direct and refer all customer leads to our reseller partners.
What happens to my customers if I want to discontinue using your service?
The ITUtility.NET infrastructure is based on a referenced technical architecture from Microsoft that uses standard Microsoft technologies for messaging and collaboration. Copies of your customers’ data can be provided to you for relocation to another system. The ITUtility.NET infrastructure leverages multi-tenant technologies to host multiple customers on an enterprise-grade system. Resellers that want to relocate a customer-base to another system will need to ensure the alternate system has multi-tenant capabilities or an individual system is required for each customer.
